Buckle up and jump on our Larc and leave the world behind- You'll love it!
1770 Castaway Day and Camping tours. Let us take you to paradise on our LARC. 1770 Castaway is located on the very Northern end of Middle Island on the shores of Jenny Lind Creek, below the Bustard Bay Lighthouse. The camping ground is a 30 person, walk in walk out site with a large covered kitchen dining/entertainment area and large tents on platforms. The camp is unique that it is the only approved permanently erected, structures in Eurimbula National Park. This is true camping on an almost deserted Island, as a result there are no roads which means very limited access, so become a CASTAWAY.
FUN FOR EVERYONE
Looking for something to do for the day with the kids, family and friends, jump on a Castaway Day trip departing Agnes Water in the morning on our LARC and returning that afternoon enjoying all the activities, on offer. Sandboarding down the 35m sand dunes into the water, go for a paddle on a kayak checking out the creek’s, or jump in one of the self drive motor boats and go for a fish or fish from land . If water isn’t your thing go for a hike along the trails of the headland to the lookout passing the lighthouse, explore the Caves or take a stroll down a deserted beach, admiring the local wildlife. Wander down to Pancake Creek go for a swim checking out the little coral reef. When you need to put the feet up relax in one of the hammocks enjoy a BBQ.
Caution one day isn’t long enough to take in everything because there is so much to do. For that reason why not spend a few days and nights. If you choose to camp besides all the activities available have a sing along around the camp fire and there is no better place to watch the Sunrise out of the ocean from the East in the morning and in the evening the sun setting behind the hills in the West, after a full day of adventure.
